Development of thermal and health tourism with Turkey:

On August 24, 2026, a detailed discussion took place in Berlin between Dr. Samet Kapisiz, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Berlin , and Lutz Lungwitz, Chairman of the German Medical Wellness Association (DMWV) .

The discussion focused on current developments and future perspectives in the fields of medical tourism, health tourism, medical wellness, and thermal tourism . Particular emphasis was placed on opportunities for enhanced German-Turkish cooperation, joint professional events and congresses, quality and certification issues, and training and professional development programs.
