25 years of Team Rynkeby Germany – 5 years of Team Berlin: Together for children with cancer

A remarkable anniversary year for the charity cycling movement Team Rynkeby: For 25 years, cyclists in Germany have been committed to raising money for good causes. At the same time, Team Berlin is celebrating its fifth anniversary. All the teams share a clear goal – helping children with cancer and their families.

What began as a small initiative has developed into a Europe-wide movement. Through fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, and the extensive voluntary commitment of the participants, more than 100 million euros have been raised in Germany alone and donated to organizations dedicated to supporting children with cancer.

Team Berlin has been part of this initiative for five years and has made a significant contribution to raising awareness and generating donations during this time. The annual charity bike tours and numerous events throughout the year combine athletic commitment with social responsibility.

“Supporting children with cancer and their families is at the heart of our actions. Every kilometer driven and every donation helps,” said team member Larissa.

With these anniversaries, Team Rynkeby Germany looks back proudly on what has been achieved so far – and at the same time forward: the goal remains to mobilize even more people and collect further donations for the fight against childhood cancer.

The DMWV welcomes this commitment and gratefully accepts donations to the Berlin team. All donations will go to the children through the German Childhood Cancer Foundation.
