The DMWV supports the charity team “Rynkeby Berlin” in raising funds for the German Childhood Cancer Foundation (www.kinderkrebsstiftung.de).

"Rynkeby" (Team Rynkeby Berlin) is a group of recreational racing cyclists who are committed to supporting these children and voluntarily fundraising for the foundation. The German Childhood Cancer Foundation is committed to ensuring that children with cancer have a better future and a better recovery. Due to the personal concern of an employee of Eckes-Granini, a fruit juice manufacturer (Hohes C), with the beverage brand "Rynkeby," the team and the "Rynkeby Foundation" were founded in Denmark in 2002, and the first successful charity bike ride to Paris was held.

Since then, more and more riders from Europe have joined this idea of active, volunteer fundraising. "Today," the Rynkeby Berlin Team also rides from Berlin to Paris for these children. All costs (including the racing bike and accommodation) are covered by the team.

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, “Rynkeby” will arrive after a week-long bike tour with over 1.

A 100-km route, at least 3,500 like-minded people from across Europe will gather for a joint donation handover under the Eiffel Tower. The team introduces itself in the image film ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAQ1Qnjp6YY&t=33s ). Further information is available at: kontakt@dmwv.
